Age Limit*: Between 18-27 years.
* Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates.
* Upper age limit is relaxable for departmental candidates (Central Govt. Civilian employees holding civil posts with 3 years of regular & continuous service) up to 40 years of age.
* Age limit is relaxable up to 35 years for UR, 38 years for OBC, and up to 40 years for SC/ST in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and not remarried.
* Age limit is relaxable for ex-servicemen (ESM) as per Government instructions.
* Age limit is relaxable up to a maximum of 5 years to meritorious sportspersons.
Essential Qualifications*: Candidates must possess one of the following from a Government recognized University/Institute, with final results declared on or before 2025-09-14:
* Diploma in Engineering in Electronics or Electronics & Tele-communication or Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Applications. OR
* Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Electronics or Computer Science or Physics or Mathematics. OR
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications.
Other Conditions*: The post of JIO-II/Tech is not identified suitable for any category of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs).
