• Educational Qualification:* B. Tech or equivalent in Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communication, or equivalent trade from a Government Recognized University/ Institute (must be a full-time regular course).
• Essential Experience (as on 01/09/2025):*
• * Must have 15 years of professional experience in the Rail Sector.
• * Out of the total experience, a minimum of 5 years of operations and/or maintenance experience of Metro System.
• * Out of the total experience, a minimum of 3 years of operations and/or maintenance experience as Head, or Deputy Head O&M, or equivalent capacity of a Metro System.
• Pay Scale/Pay Eligibility Criteria (one of the following):*
• * For candidates working in/having worked in CDA/IDA pay scales: Officials in/retired from posts in analogous grade in CDA pay scale in Level-15 (182200-224100) or IDA pay Scale of Rs. 150000-300000/- in Government organization or Rail/Metro Transport System, with a total of twenty-five years’ service at the Gazetted/Executive level.
• * For candidates working in/having worked in the private sector on annual CTC basis: Officials in/had worked with Rail/Metro Transport System with a total of 25 years’ service at Executive level and having/had annual CTC of Rs. 40 Lakhs and above.
• General:* Candidate should be conversant with functioning in a computerized environment (hands-on knowledge desirable). Officers from Government organizations should be free from D&AR and Vigilance angle.

* Initially posted at Chennai.
* Liable to be posted/transferred to any offices/project sites under the Corporation in India or abroad.

* Normal retirement age in DMRC is 60 years.
* Deputation tenure: Normal 5 years, extendable to 7 years or till superannuation.
* Post Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE): Initial engagement for one year, extendable based on Corporation's requirement and satisfactory performance.

* **Direct Recruitment Basis:** Pay as per IDA scales, including Perks, Lease/HRA, Medical benefits, EPF, Gratuity, and Insurance as per rules.
* **Deputation Basis:** Candidate continues to draw parent department pay plus applicable deputation allowance.
* **Post Retirement Contractual Engagement Basis:** Consolidated emolument of Rs. 1,82,500/- per month plus applicable HRA/Lease facility and other benefits as per company policy.

* **Direct Recruitment & PRCE:** Personal Interview and Medical fitness examination (Executive/Technical category).
* **Deputation Basis:** Personal Interview.

* The selection process evaluates knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude, and physical fitness. Qualifying both the Screening Process and Medical examination is mandatory.

* Candidates selected on Direct Recruitment must execute a Surety Bond of Rs. 4,00,000/- (or as applicable) to serve the Corporation for a minimum period of three years (excluding LWP or EOL), or till retirement, whichever is earlier.
* Three months’ prior notice is required before seeking resignation.

* Selected candidates on Direct Recruitment will be on probation for a period of one year (including training), or till retirement, whichever is earlier.
